The Trap: What Happened to Our Dreams of Freedom, BBC
The BBC released this documentary in March, 2007 by Adam Curtis which begins by examining the Cold War theories of foreign relations as selfish and competitive eventually resulting in a "trap" that confines our domestic freedom. The series turns to psychology, economics, cultural stimuli, and philosophy to explain the "paradox" of freedom. In all, The Trap was broken into three programs over three days aired on the BBC. Contributors include John Nash, Isaiah Berlin, R. D. Laing, Robert Rubin, Francis Fukuyama, and Samuel Huntington. An excellent piece, must watch.

John McClure, What is Liberty to You
A reading of John Adams by John McClure debates the notion that liberty must be "prefaced by responsibility" because Anarchy is logically unthinkable.
Life and Liberty for All Who Believe
Burt Lancaster presents this investigation of America's "Moral Majority" and highlights specifically the issue of religious freedom. Quite long and limited to religious issues.
This is a stick-figure presentation which disseminats the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and property through the right of self-ownership. It is not very analytical, but does illustrate a dimension of liberty as the "present state" of self-ownership.
