Members of the Colored National Anti-Imperialist League
Established autonomously from the Anti-Imperialist Leagues
Formed in 1899, its president was Jerome Riley, a Democrat and advocate of working with Southern politicians. By many northern Republicans this organization was better known as the "Colored Auxiliary of the Anti-Imperialist League." Among southern African-Americans Riley and the League were shunned.
