Brief Biography
Andrew Fiske was a Boston brahmin who graduated from Harvard Law School and practiced in some of the city's most prominent firms. Fiske was a proponent of fair local government and was the Secretary of the Boston Reform Club. His interest in international affairs was minimal and he did not actively take part in many of the League's affairs after 1898. His initial interest was likely the cause of his close friendship and family relationship with Gamaliel Bradford.
